Recipes and Feed Guide
Food planning is the difference between a calm lodge and a day spent sprinting back to town. Use this page to decide what to grow, cook, and store before guests get hungry.
What to prepare
Keep this page open while playing: it is written as a checklist, not a lore article.
| Item type | Main use | Where to use it | Best timing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic feed | Daily animal hunger | Habitat bowls and early quests | Prepare before taking town errands |
| Crop ingredients | Cooking and feed support | Fields, kitchen, and quest hand-ins | Plant after morning care is stable |
| Fish ingredients | Quest meals and special requests | Fishing routes near town, bridge, beach, or Paw Prints reports | Fish only after bowls are stocked |
| Stored meals | Emergency hunger recovery | Kitchen storage and late-day care | Keep backup before expanding habitats |
Best early food route
Feed guests first, water crops second, then craft only the food needed for the next day. A full pantry is useful; a full field that you cannot water before happiness drops is not.
Common food mistake
Do not spend all daylight chasing a rare ingredient while normal bowls are empty. Rare fish and special recipes are progress tools, not substitutes for daily feeding.

Before leaving the lodge, feed and clean current guests first. Most quest failures start because players accept a town objective while bowls are already empty.
