A Day Off — Walkthrough
The postman needs three letters delivered to Toby, Fiona and Martha. Complete all deliveries before claiming the reward.
Quick answer
Deliver to all three named houses. Check the journal and collect the Courier Medal as prompted, then display it on your home's wall for scooter speed; only return to the postman if the journal asks.
What to prepare
Locate Toby, Fiona and Martha’s house labels before setting off. Choose a nearby house first and check the remaining destinations after each delivery.

Step-by-step walkthrough
- Talk to the postman for A Day Off and read the three house names in the journal. Open the map and match house-owner labels before choosing your route.
- Locate Toby's house by its map label and use the house's delivery interaction. Talking to Toby elsewhere is not the same as delivering to his house.
- Find the house labelled Fiona and deliver there. Reopen the journal afterwards to see which delivery remains; do not rely on a house's appearance.
- Locate Martha's labelled house and complete its delivery interaction. You may choose a different order if another house is closer.
- After all three house deliveries, read the journal's remaining instruction and collect the medal. Display it on a wall at home; keeping it in your bag is not the display step.
When to start
Plan one town circuit; use house labels to choose the order from your current position.
Materials and bag space
Keep the three recipient names handy. Use the delivery prompt at each house; do not buy gifts or count ordinary conversation as a delivered letter.
Route landmarks
Look around the area below the vet, the eastern neighbourhood and near Paw Prints south of home. Match Toby, Fiona and Martha to the actual map labels before delivering; landmarks alone do not identify an owner.
What you get
The reward improves scooter travel after wall display. It does not improve a racehorse or select race winners.
If you get stuck
A delivery still pending? Read which of Toby, Fiona or Martha remains, confirm that house’s owner on the map and use its delivery interaction; talking to the person elsewhere is not delivering to the house. All deliveries done but no speed benefit? Collect the Courier Medal as prompted and display it on a wall at home, not just in your bag.
Version notes
Since the August update, hovering over houses on the map shows their owners. Use this instead of following NPCs home.
Completion check
All three named houses must be delivered to, the journal must stop requesting those deliveries, and you should receive the medal. Wall display is the separate step that enables its scooter benefit.
